| Description | Sommerville: Antique paste cameo, color deep sard, with figure in relief. Mounted warrior with spear, attacked by a species of dragon. Fragment worn by time. Antique Pastes, Case WWW. Vermeule: Glass paste, colored to imitate yellowish Sard; broken across right side and much deteriorated. (Unmounted) Warrior on horseback to right, attacking a fallen adversary, the remains of whose body, a leg and part of the cuirass ? are visible at the lower right. Graeco-Roman. |
