| Description | Skirt of split banana leaves dyed with artificial dyes. Tthree short tiers at top, alternating dyed, plain, dyed. Predominant colors of top layers yellow, blue-green, orange. Seven sets of full length colored streamers. Used in the sagali ritual. Collected at the completion of a sagali (in this case marking the end of mourning) in Omarakana village, October 8, 1988. |
