Adze

Stone blade, inserted into a split piece of wood (with peel wound around to hold blade in), attached to a wood haft with woven peel. Blade black and shiny, crudely formed, roughly convex-concave at tip. White, black, yellow pigments, latter in stripes on haft and peel lashing.
