| Description | Coarse Amphora Type 5 (variant). Complete; rotted and flaking in spots; exposed fabric soft and powdery. Slightly flanged flat base; depressed ovoid body with greatest diameter at lower shoulder; wide slightly concave neck, slightly out-turned at rim; plain rounded rim; 2 vertical strap handles from upper neck to shoulder. Undecorated. |
