White and purple vertical panel of strips (7.5 cm wide) running length of the sample. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 40 epi, single, Z twist, black cotton. Two singles, Z twist, white cotton. Single, Z twist, purple cotton. Two singles, Z twist, red cotton in selvedge. Weft: 40 ppi, single, Z twist, black cotton. Two singles, Z twist, white cotton. Single, Z twist, purple cotton. Balanced plain weave. Woven on a treadle loom." |
