| Description | Tomb 2B = Herscher Tomb 802B. Red polished III amphora. Fragmentary. Fine fairly hard orange clay with gray interior. Uneven bright red lustrous slip. Base not preserved, body not restored; conical neck, everted rim; two opposed horned vertical handles, rectangular in section, from lower neck to upper body. Undecorated. Cf. Grace, pl. X.125. |
