| Description | An egg-shaped, stone churinga. There are about 8 vertical lines etched on the narrower end of the stone and a large spiral etched in the middle. One the wider end, a set of two or three lines curve up from the corners towards the spiral and are connected by a set of four lines that run parallel to the edge of the stone. “Said to be used in female initiation ceremony.” (Catalog card) |
