| Description | Red cotton skirt with narrow indigo and white warp stripes. Varying width indigo and white jaspe stripes in weft; diamond, chain 3 dolls motif. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 40 epi, single, Z twist, red, white and indigo cotton with two singles, Z twist, indigo cotton selvedge. Weft: 42 ppi, single, Z twist, red and indigo and white jaspe cotton. Balanced plain weave. Woven on a foot loom." |
