| Description | Tomb 2A = Herscher Tomb 802A. Red polished I jug with cutaway spout. Light yellow-brown clay with gray interior, many inclusions. Thick lustrous drak red to dark red-orange slip. Flat base (D.: ca. 5 cm), ovoid body; conical neck, cutaway spout; vertical handle from rim to upper body. Relief decoration: on neck, knob at either side of upper handle attachment. |
