| Description | Shape: Baggy alabastron with no handles. Fabric: Fine, pink (7.5YR 7/4) clay with decoration in red (2.5YR 5/6) to reddish black (10R 2.5/1) paint and added white (poorly preserved) paint. Decoration: Interior of mouth painted. Two bands on upper part of vessel; foliate band (FM 64) on shoulder zone; two bands on lower body. Resting surface unpainted. Added white: dots bounded by bands on the dark bands bounding the foliate band; thin bands on the other dark bands. Condition: Mouth and upperpart of neck missing. White paint visible only as discolorations. |
