| Description | Pottery. Break on rim. Fabric like MS759. Handmade. White slip carried on rim. Pattern in 4 zones: below neck traces of band of hatched triangles; wider zone a metope filled with hatched hour-glass motif in red alternates with smaller quadrilateral, half hatched red, other now empty; lattice pattern in red; lowest zone four ladders two of which are separated by vertical lines. On bottom of bowl an 8-spoked wheel. Bowl fits and may belong on MS 759. |
