| Description | Vermueule: Glass paste, imitating sard. Intaglio. (Unmounted). Female kneeling to right, at a bowl. Two stalks of grain grow beside her and an eagle with a sceptre flies above. A small cult image, perhaps of Priapus, appears to emerge from the pot. A ritual scene. Sommerville 1135 - Ceres. |
