| Description | Fragmentary light poncho. Crepe with painted panels, interlocking blue, pink, yellow scrolls separated by sewed on tapestry finged on both sides at regular intervals. Bottom with sewed on tapestry borders; the upper with complex double-fringed band and with diamond overlay stitch; lower border fringed. Fragmentary poncho. Main structure in a crepe type technique that is painted in a scroll design. Added fringed tapestry elements attached in lines down the poncho and along the bottom hem. Color(s): Off-white crepe sections that have a painted design in blue. Tapestry elements are in red, brown, and yellow. |
