| Description | Intact. Attenuated form with widely overhanging lip and very tall handles glued to wall. Pale buff clay. Covered with brownish-black glaze except on underside of foot. On one side a niche painted in white with yellow details. In it stands a nude male figure, legs crossed, right over left (?), wearing a wreath and carrying a second in left hand. In right he holds a curved object whose lower part rests on the floor. The niche has an Ionic column on each side a pediment with a central circular ornament, and three palmette acroteria. |
