Description

Made by Jerry Aaron, used in the Eagle Dance in the Long House in 1939. One per person. Made of wood with three grooves carved in it. In two of the grooves there are two eagle feathers. The feather at the very tip of the wand has red cloth wrapped around the thread which secures it to the wand; there is also a red cloth tassel attached half-way down the feather, and a tassel of pink, red, and green ribbon and blue string attached to the very tip of the feather. The second feather has green ribbon around the thread and a red cloth tassel half-way down the feather. The third groove has two small feathers attached with thread and green ribbon to the wand.
