| Description | Very fine lace-like fabric. White, undecorated, fringed. Rod Ewins (1983, from slide): Either sulu (skirt) or wabale (shoulder sash). A little wide, but the right length for a wabale. The fine pleating is a device used in Lau for such "special" cloths. |
