| Description | 20th century cotton huipil of two panels. White ground with multicolored supplementary weft. Stylized designs of animals, plants and human figures. Neck cut and embroidered. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 48 epi, two singles Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 14 ppi, three singles, Z twist, white cotton. Warp faced. Supplementary weft is single faced. Two panels, two selvedges each. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
