| Description | Oinochoe shape I. Intact. Fully black glazed except for underside of foot and the panel on front (opposite the handle). In panel is a seated Dionysos, facing left, mantle around legs and lower torso and drawn up over his proper left shoulder. On either side of him is a standing female figure, no doubt a maenad, facing inward. Vines around and above the three figures. Tongue pattern above; at sides two vertical lines of dots bordered by vertical lines of dots bordered by vertical lines. On base Etruscan sigla. |
