| Description | Ring foot. Low, pulvinated body. Top of askos depressed and in the center is a strainer of five holes surrounded by a thick raised ridge. Ring handle with two lengthwise grooves set at an angle on shoulder. At right angles to it is a lion's head spout set in the same position on the shoulder. Vertical grooves on wall. Intact. Good quality metallic black glaze, dipped, over all except resting surface and underside of foot. |
