| Description | Mat seat. Tekai Burit. Rectangular, with pointed top. Rattan peel, woven in pattern of dark and light triangles, with, at the top, a 3-tier stepped figure. Top is edged with strips of red cloth, over which are sewn bands of black and yellow beadwork. At point a tassel of yellow and black beads. Ties of twisted red cloth. Worn by men, suspended from the waist at back, ready to sit on in the forest. |
