| Description | Small stemmed dish. Foot and stem conical within. Flat resting surface. Spreading foot, substantial stem. Shallow receptacle set off from flat rim by only slight articulation. Decoration in reddish-brown glaze: solid glaze on top surface of foot and lower half of stem; a glaze dot at center of dish; three wheel glazed lines; at mid-point of dish; at outer edge of dish; and at outer edge of rim. Between the two outer lines are schematic pointed leaves at intervals, points out. Nearly 1/2 of receptacle and rim missing, restored in plaster. Hard, light brown clay, fine grained. |
