| Description | Vine; hexagonal base, round top; plaited with openwork sides; three main elements: one horizontal and two which corss this at angles; base has a 4th element interwoven with the above three; top 15cm of basket not open, ends of vertical elements wrapped over rim and woven back into design; rim of wood wrapped with vine strips and lashed to top. Used to carry vegetables, etc. |
