| Description | Food dish. Carved from one piece of wood. Rectangular, but sides flare and slightly bulge. Ends rise in decided curve at rim. A repair patch in bottom. 24 pieces of abalone shell set in wide overhanging rim. Next to corners on both sides, 10 vertical parallel grooves. Both ends carved identically with convention-alized face (or faces) of an animal (?) . Greasy. |
