| Description | Grass (marsh?); coiled; grass stitching and in coil bundle. roundish-oval with flat bottom, curved sides with shoulder and short "neck". Decoration: dying some of weft black and red and creating a series of diamonds (with top point squashed) around sides- in a checkerboard outline. Stitches bifurcated. Dyes are probably native. |
