| Description | Roughly square piece of banded agate set into asquare plaque (?) of paste (?) which appears to be clay but is harder and heavier than clay, color reddish-grey except for band behind gold edge which is more grey; thin gold edge with decoration consisting of five small raised bosses within a row of granulation; between each boss a triangular area of granulation. Agate transluscent and there appears to be a sheet of copper-like metal behind it. |
