| Description | A kakau (adze handle) made of wood. The handle is carved from a single piece of wood, with no decoration. The top of the blade has a flat surface that would hold the toki (adze blade). The handle of the kakau curves inward. Generally, a stone toki would be bound to a kakau and used for wood carving. |
