| Description | CBS Register: Seal cylinder white marble, Archaic. PBS XIV: two hunters with head in profile, lift by legs and tail a reversed lion. they are naked with just a belt, and both have one leg up as if trampling on the animal. Behind them are a lance, with the shaft bulging toward the middle, and a crescent. Cyl. seal. Limestone, 21 1/2 x 12 1/2 mm. Nippur. |
