| Description | Decorated with three inserted bands of bobbin weave which utilizes the warp of the plain goods. Fragment of cotton plain weave with 3 rows of brocaded design (single sided with floats on verso/bobbin weave). Along one of these rows is a join as seen on verso. According to the catalogue card, this is a fragment of a loin cloth. Color(s): Brown, black and white. |
