| Description | Plaid sarong (tembe paleka). Predyed synthetic (nggoli). Probably woven using a ground loom (rarely done with synthetics). Machine sewn. Made in 1983, Mangge hamlet. Maroon with large balanced plaid of medium blue, dark blue, yellow green & clear red. Panel blue with narrow vertical red stripes. Blue border stripes. |
