Earring

The main finial is hollow with a hook for catching the ear pin in the mouth. Mane is a double ring. Elaborate neck has two sections, one is three vine leaves in filigree encircled by two bands of spool wire, the second is a pointed vine leaf pattern formed by filigree. The hoop is made of several strands of double rope wire twisted into a spiral ending in a small poorly modeled lion head finial with a plain neck. Pin is broken away. Main finial battered and pressed in. Lion head would be upside down when worn.
