Description

Puppet of same type as 85-1-22. Face pink, neck pink and gold; chipped and cracked. Round red eyes, European face and hair. European hat with brim; greenish, with black band, black criss-cross lines, very much chipped and cracked. Hands cupped. Black tunic with white collar (much soiled) and piece of white cloth stitched to right shoulder. Rosettes of orange and lavendar fabric, much tattered, on shoulders, orange cuffs. Broad black sash with crude white stitching.Two skirts, both open at back. Inner skirt; broad red brown diagonal stripes, broad white stripes with blue and red flowers. much soiled. Outer skirt; white with overall pattern of lozenges and dots in dark blue, with sprays of dark blue and light brown flowers. Anonymous character; dutch official.
