| Description | A Japanese hansatsu 藩札 (clan note) issued by the Yagyu clan (柳生) in Washu (和州) also known as Yamato province, present day Nara Prefecture. The denomination is one monme of silver (銀壹匁). It is dated to May of 1815 CE (文化十二 乙亥 年改: Bunka twelve, younger brother of the earth, boar, year, reform = 1815 CE). There is an image of Daikoku at the top on the obverse and a bird on the reverse. |
