| Description | Lama Buddhist stupa, or chorten, shaped reliquary. Bronze gilt. Little stupa used as a container for religious relics and as object of worship. Depicts the "World-lotus" rising from the sea with the stupa proper representing the Universe-in-microcosm. Dedicated to the worship of the five Dhyani Buddhas, whose symbols are shown on the sides. |
