| Description | Wavy blade (11 curves), dark, with sparse watery patterning (pamor). Gilded filigree ring (mendak) with beading; broad gilded repousse cup (selut). Dark brown wood hilt carved in form of figure, possibly a raksasa (demon), covered with intricate vegetal motifs, seated on base with triangular (tumpal) motifs. Style typical of north coast of Java and Madura. |
