| Description | Mold made lamp with fugitive (?) red paint covering the entire exterior. Top of handle has been broken off. The discuss has been stamped with a running lion surrounded by a ring with small outwardly extending “tongues.” The fill hole is directly bellow the belly of the lion, and appears to have been created by piercing the clay with a dowel or similar tool. Heart shaped nozzle. The bottom preserves the potter’s stamp, “ CASVICT.” |
