| Description | CBS Register: Object in clay (medal, stuck in memory of the dead?) with inscription. PBS XIV: Round clay tessera from Palmyra, 20 x 20 x 3 ½ mm. Acquired, 1891. The face has an amphora between a pitcher and a basket below a star with a crown of two laurel branches around. The reverse has a necklace of twin beads in lent form alternation with a rhomb around a name. “Bel protects.” |
