| Description | Open work basket likely used as a eulachon press. Warps are nearly straight and held together with rows of plain twining spaced roughly 2-4cm apart. Warp strands are folded back over themselves at the rim. Five rows of close twined weaving below the rim. Small, braided, plant fiber handle at base. Technical notes: twined, open and close twined, two-strand, divided warp. 7 warps, 2 rows per square inch. |
