| Description | Brown, fine-grained rock with concoidal fracture (chert or volcanic origin). Tang edges irregular - appear to expand from base very slightly. Base nearly straight - appears perpendicular to longitudinal axis. Flakes driven off base perpendicular to longitudinal axis on one surface; other surface has single flake struck from one edge. Flake scars not parallel to each other on one surface; other surface composed almost of single flake scar (there is marginal retouch). Broken perpendicular to longitudinal axis (tip missing). |
