| Description | Bone awl; pointed end is tapered very abruptly so that actual piercing point lasts only about 1 cm. Shape of whole piece is roughly an elongated triangle. Surface of awl is curved (looked at lengthwise, shape is a shallow "U"). Outside surface is smooth and the inside is porous. |
