| Description | Small slender point with tang and corner notches (i.e. the barbs extend back beyond the deepest points in the base.) There is fine pressure-flaking over most of both surfaces. One side is a little more humped than the other, indicating that the piece was probably made from a blade. Points such as this were used to hunt birds and small mammals. Arrowheads arrived late in Italy. |
