| Description | Seed penis sheath (orom yop, type mamundin yop). Whitish seed shell, with waist cord (see 89-17-54 A-C). Two holes burned with nail; before steel would have been made with bone awl. These seeds are found near the Ok Tedi River; this particular seed was found in cassowary excreta. Made by Anti Wungmo, Ketbiran clan, Dome village. Purchased from maker 9/12/88. Made for collection. |
