Description

A color woodblock print showing a scene from the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-5. It depicts Japanese officers firing a cannon and is one of three sheets that form a triptych. This is the center sheet. The other sheets are missing. The artist is Watanabe Nobukazu. The title is: 日本大勝利平壌ヲ破ル図 which translates to "Japan's Great Victory in the Conquest of Pyongyang".
