Description

Bone point, hardwood foreshaft inserted in cane shaft. The junction of point and foreshaft and also junction of foreshaft and shaft wrapped with plant cuticle, covered with white clay. Foreshaft divided into bands, four of which are painted red, bordered by narrow bands of black lines, and three left natural. The central natural section has alternating straight and wavy lines, and the natural section near the point has a design drawn in black lines.
