| Description | Boat model of solid teakwood, with accents in white, orange, and blue paint. Bottom is painted brown. Tar - Surbari type. Flat bottomed (no keel) vessel; double ender, used for catching prawns in shallow water with a small mesh net. It uses a lateen sail. Used between August and March during drier conditions. Length to breadth ratio is 4:1. Length = 20 feet. Breadth = 5 feet. Depth = 2.5-3 feet. |
