| Description | Complete, mended, some incrustation. Wheelmade. Warped. Low ring base. Walls sloping up slightly to flaring rim, rounded and thickened at top. Rolled clay rope applied under exterior flare; pulled out to loop handles on one diameter; stopped to allow lifting edge on other diamter. Red/brown and purple painted dec.: bands and lines of blobs between bands with reserved areas. Medium fabric, fine clay. Polished, fired brown buff on surfaces, more orange red at core. |
