| Description | The bottom is flat enough to serve as a secure stand-surface. Small omphalos in a depression at center. Small close-set tongues based on narrow line encircling broad band at aperture on disk. Handle glazed. Tongues on neck. Decoration on front of body: Boread, bearded with forelocks, careful incision, plentiful added purple on face, garments, feathers of wings. At back under handle a large standing bird right, head turned back. Thick filling ornament in field, incised rosettes. |
