Double-edged iron blade; sides parallel except at point; shallow groove on opposite sides of pronounced medial ridge on the two faces. Tang inserted in wooden grip, lentoid in section, tapering to offset disc below short cylindrical end; grip completely covered with brass wire, with rope decoration also of the brass wire.
