| Description | Painted duck askos; large; fine. Resembles duck in having a duck's head, a stubby tail (mostly missing) and representations in glaze of wings and feathers. Ring foot. Spout at end opposite head. Bail-handle between head and spout. Scale pattern for feathers on front. Wing patterns include concentric zigzag and maeander. Large palmette below tail on back. Intact save for missing tail stub. |
