Description

Wood shield, thick and wide, with very convex front. Front covered with thick dark pigment, crazed, with red in crazing. Four deep cuts or slashes. Back almost flat, with no pigment. Carved-out handle. Exhibited at World's Columbian Exposition, Chicago 1893.
