| Description | A ministry of finance note (大蔵省印押捺札) issued by the Tokushima clan (徳島) in Awa (阿波), present day Chiba prefecture. The denomination is one monme of silver (銀壹匁). It is dated to 1730 CE (享保十五庚戌暦 Kyoho 15 kanoe inu issued = 1730). There is an image of Bishamonten on the top of the obverse. This is similar to a hansatsu (藩札). |
